The Office of E*ntrepreneurship provides leadership and coordination for cross-campus entrepreneurship activities and stages several events focused on enhancing the student, faculty and alumni experience at Rensselaer. Entrepreneurs apply initiative, creativity and innovation to transform ideas and navigate new horizons ahead of others. In a variety of informative and entertaining formats - lectures, panels and the E*ntrepreneur's Studio -- our New Horizons.

E*ntrepreneurship Speaker Series guests also take us to new horizons by sharing their practical experiences, wisdom and perspectives in social, scientific, design, diversity, corporate, social networking, environmental and global entrepreneurship.

Each year, the Office of E*ntrepreneurship conducts workshops for students and faculty across the campus and around the word Workshops range from basic student overview sessions and team/case project events to advanced business start-up seminars.

 

THE CHANGE THE WORLD CHALLENGE is a twice yearly contest to develop innovative, technological ideas with the potential of changing the world. The Challenge is open to all RPI students, but interdisciplinary team submissions are particularly encouraged.


Rock The World is a once a year event conducted as an integral part of the incoming freshman class Navigating Rensselaer and Beyond event in August. Students receive an early introduction to E*ntrepreneurship at Rensselaer, recent entrepreneurial graduates and the program's schedule for the year.


Class of ’51 Competition

The Class of ’51 Competition encourages undergraduate and graduate students to submit entrepreneurial ideas and awards early development grants each year to individuals or teams who compete and win the competition.
