As a core strength and a priority in the Rensselaer Plan, the new model for E*ntrepreneurship at Rensselaer expands its definition as a campus-wide opportunity.
In bringing the definition to life, we believe that it's not essential that everyone become an entrepreneur, but in today's world, it has become important that everyone be able to think and act like one.
The Office of E*ntrepreneurship provides leadership and coordination for cross-campus entrepreneurship curriculum, activities, student idea competitions and the office stages several events focused on enhancing the student, faculty and alumni experience at Rensselaer.
The Emerging Ventures Ecosystem (EVE) accelerates the growth of new businesses and boosts the transfer of scientific and technological breakthroughs from the laboratory and classroom to the marketplace, for social and economic impact.
The Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship (SCTE) helps foster new generations of budding and successful entrepreneurs through outreach programs, education and support systems.
The Office of Technology Commercialization at Rensselaer supports researchers in protecting intellectual property and bringing discoveries into the commercial marketplace. OTC is dedicated to building relationships with commercial partners to benefit Rensselaer, researchers, and the broader community.
