The Office of E*ntrepreneurship will conduct special Elevator Pitch Workshops for interested competition entrants and finalists to help them better develop their pitch skills.

The Workshops will be held during the weeks before the competition entry deadline and presentation finals.

Finalists are encourage to participate in both Workshops and will receive constructive critiques and coaching. Make a reservation by using the check off at the bottom of the Entry Form.

These sessions will review video clips from the popular BBC TV show, The Dragons’ Den, where aspiring entrepreneurs pitch to five successful investors. Students will have several opportunities to learn do’s and don’ts of great (and not so great) pitches.

Pre–Entry Workshop, February 6^th, 2013 at the Multidisciplinary Lab in the Jonsson Engineering Center at 7:00 p.m.

Entrants whose pitches are selected as finalists for the live presentation competition are required to attend one Workshop and are encouraged to use both opportunities to try out and fine tune their Elevator Pitches and to benefit from some real-time feedback and coaching ahead of the finals.

Finalist Workshop I, April 03^rd, 2013 at the Multidisciplinary Lab in the Jonsson Engineering Center at 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Finalist Workshop II, April 17^th, 2013 at the Multidisciplinary Lab in the Jonsson Engineering Center at 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
