The RAA is looking for Alumni Entrepreneurs to Mentor Students
E*Mentoring

The Rensselaer Alumni Association, the Provost Office and the Office of Entrepreneurship are working together to establish a partnership program engaging alumni in academic and entrepreneurship activities. The program will focus on three areas: alumni mentoring of students, guest lecturing and establishing internship opportunities.

RPI has a largely untapped source of expertise and real life experience in our alumni. This program will harness this asset and not only benefit the students, but give alums an opportunity to make a difference in a student’s life.

We are starting with a pilot program to mentor a small group of entrepreneurial students under the direction of the Vice Provost of Entrepreneurship, Rob Chernow. He has developed a mentoring manual, “The Power of Mentoring” to be used with both alumni and students.

We are looking for 20 alumni mentors who live within driving distance from the Troy campus to make it feasible for meetings between alumni and students. This will involve several hours per month for the length of the program.

If you are interested in participating in this program please sign up below.
